MINDFULNESS
MEDITATION

What is Mindfulness?

The ability to pay attention, deliberately, in the present moment, without judgement is the hallmark of mindfulness.

What is mindfulness meditation?

Mindfulness meditation is a practice that focuses your attention inward, deliberately, by noting your breath, body sensations, sounds, feelings, thoughts, and emotions.

Mindfulness has been the subject of extensive clinical research recently, and has been found to improveyour immune system, decrease blood pressure and improve heart health, improve memory, decrease cellular aging, decrease symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress and improves positive emotions and emotional regulation. Mindfulness fosters empathy and compassion and enhances our feelings of connectedness to others. It has been found to be helpful in the workplace in the reduction of burn-out
and in improvement of problem-solving skills, communication and job efficiency. It has been found to be helpful in the school setting to decrease teacher stress and improve job satisfaction, and yields behavioral improvements in students.

With so much positive publicity, why not schedule a private mindfulness meditation session for yourself to reap the benefits of this rejuvenating practice?  Or schedule a group session for you and your friends or colleagues, and feel the power of being in the present moment.
